![]() I have play tested the euphonium using the correct mouthpiece and it plays as it should with a good sound through the register. ![]() more as can be seen it the picture have no excessive wear or pitting. The slides, valve top caps, bottom caps and buttons are all free and have been polished. Sterling have rolled these out as best possible without removing any of the original metal however some minor imperfections remain on close inspection. Prior to overhaul the euphonium had some creases to the bell flare. It has just had a complete overhaul and replate by Sterling musical instruments therefore the silver plate is perfect with no wear and shines to a bright finish. In my opinion this instrument is in very good playing and cosmetic condition. ![]() Specs are: Key: Bb with four compensating piston valves, Bell: 12 inches. This is the original round stamp professional level'Sovereign' model, serial number 646* dates it to approx 1980. ![]()
